Well today I was working at St Rose's High School in West Belfast on a Tuned up project organised by Maddhouse studios in Antrim in association with Creative Youth Partnerships.
The year nine girls were a delight to work with and oh so talented!! They composed lyrics for five songs, learned a new African song, some new African rhythms and even had a go at a stomp style piece along with the Haka. So, all in all a pretty full on day.
The girls will be recording their pieces tomorrow under the supervison of a professional sound engineer. Can't wait to hear the finished pieces.
